Ispirandomi al gioco dei bambini — alla loro necessità di comporre forme, spostarle, disfarle e reinventare ogni volta uno scenario nuovo — ho creato R5: moduli che si compongono in forme libere, dove funzione ed estetica si inventano sempre da capo. Le forme restano elementari, quadrato e rettangolo, addolcite dalla curva degli angoli, per lasciare che il legno massello ne diventi protagonista assoluto.
Inspired by the way children play — their need to arrange shapes, move them, take them apart and invent a new scenario each time — I created R5: modules that come together in free-form compositions, where function and aesthetics reinvent themselves anew. The shapes stay elementary — square and rectangle — softened by curved corners, letting solid wood emerge as the absolute protagonist.
